The KNX Standard foresees 3 different configuration modes:

¡°E-mode¡± (Easy mode)
¡°A-mode¡± (Automatic mode)
The KNX standard includes several communication Media. Each communication medium can be used in combination with one or more configuration modes, allowing each manufacturer to choose the right combination for the targeted market segment and application.
